Already Own a Great Tablet? You May Not Need a Windows Laptop.

Hero lets you use a compatible tablet as the display for a full Windows 11 PC—without carrying another laptop and another screen.
Suppose you already own a great tablet.
It has a beautiful display. It’s thin and portable. It supports touch, perhaps a stylus, and you already carry it with you.
Then you discover you need Windows.
The conventional answer is straightforward:
Buy a laptop.
But consider what you’re actually buying.
Another display. Another keyboard. Another trackpad. Another battery. Another device to carry, charge, maintain, and eventually replace.
All because you need Windows.
Hero offers another approach.
Use your tablet as a Windows display
Hero is a full Windows 11 PC without a permanently attached screen.
Connect a compatible tablet or mobile device to Hero Port with a USB-C cable and open the Hero App. Your mobile device becomes an interactive display for your Hero PC.
Hero Port uses a direct wired video connection, delivering a zero-latency display without relying on fast or reliable Wi-Fi.
Your tablet hasn’t been replaced.
It’s become more useful.
Is a tablet screen too small for Windows?
Not necessarily.
Windows includes display scaling specifically to make interface elements comfortable at different screen sizes and resolutions.
On a tablet-sized display, increasing Windows scaling to around 200–250% can make text, menus, buttons, and controls comfortably sized while retaining the benefits of a sharp, high-resolution screen.
And a compatible tablet brings capabilities many conventional laptop displays don’t offer: touch and stylus input.
The goal isn’t to make a tablet behave like a 27-inch monitor.
It’s to use the right screen for the situation you’re in.
When you don’t need Windows, use your tablet normally
Hero doesn’t have to become dead weight when you’re using your tablet’s native operating system.
Hero can function as a Bluetooth keyboard and trackpad for your tablet or mobile device—even when Hero’s PC is off.
That changes what you need to carry.
Instead of a tablet, tablet keyboard, and separate Windows laptop, Hero can serve as your tablet keyboard when you want your tablet—and become your complete Windows PC when you need Windows.
And at your desk?
Connect Hero to your monitor.
Now the same computer becomes your desktop Windows PC.
Your applications haven’t moved. Your files aren’t on another machine. You don’t have a second Windows computer to configure and maintain.
You’ve simply changed screens.
If you already own a tablet you love and now need Windows, perhaps the first question shouldn’t be:
“Which laptop should I buy?”
Perhaps it should be:
“Do I need to buy another screen at all?”
